Colbeck Capital Management announces its continued support of Children’s Tumor Foundation through sponsorship of the World NF Awareness Day Live Event to be held on May 17, 2023, during NF Awareness Month. This live event raises understanding and funds programs created to improve patient outcomes and support alongside cutting-edge NF research.
NF Awareness Month is just one occasion where the Children's Tumor Foundation applies its resources to educate and raise money to support the research that can fuel clinical trials and shine a light on the people affected by the disease. Supporters are encouraged to participate in person or online throughout NF Awareness Month and World NF Awareness Day as CTF shares inspiring patient stories and updates on research.
In 2022, the Foundation’s pillars of driving research, advancing care, and expanding knowledge led to another ten advancements in NF including expanded clinical trials, innovative biomarker blood tests, and the advancement of therapy and gene editing projects. Over 80 percent of funds collected through fundraising efforts like World NF Awareness Day are directed into programs and research that directly serve CTF’s mission.
